[Urdu Couplet #01]

तेग़ मुंसिफ हो जहां दारोरसँ हो शाहिद 
बेगुन्हा कौन है उस शहरमें क़ातिल के सिवा

Tegh munsif ho jahaan daar-o-rasan ho shaahid
Begunaah kaun hai uss shahar me qaatil ke siva


[Tegh = sword; munsif = judje; daar-o-rasan = gallows and noose; shaahid = witness]

[English Translation]
Where sword is the judge, gallows and noose are the witnesses
In such a city, who is innocent except the murderer
